Upper West Side

Synonymous with history, art, and nature.

Welcome to Upper West Side

An artistic and historic neighborhood bordering Central Park

The Upper West Side is synonymous with history, art, and nature. There is plenty of green space, thanks to the neighborhood being bordered by Central Park on one side and the Hudson Waterfront Greenway on the other. Simultaneously quieter and grander here than lower Manhattan, the Upper West Side is nonetheless loaded with dining and entertainment.

Though Upper West Side is home to some of the greenest parts of New York City, that does not mean its architectural surroundings suffer. Options abound, from luxurious high-rises and townhouses to historic brownstones, condos, and co-ops. The cozy, charming brick buildings give the entire neighborhood a warm, friendly atmosphere, just one of the reasons this is one of the most sought-after locales in all of New York City.
